Terms of Service — Route Forge

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Route Planner (the "Service") provided by Route Forge. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. The Service is a best‑effort route planning tool designed primarily for solo professionals located in the United States.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are an individual (solo professional/sole proprietor) using the Service for your own professional activities. The Service is not intended for enterprise, multi‑user, team, or international use.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities under your account
You must notify us immediately of unauthorized use.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
- We offer free trials, one-time purchases, and subscription plans.
- Payments are securely processed via Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
- Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Circumvent plan limits or quotas
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service without permission
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
5. Best‑Effort Service
The Service is provided on a best‑effort basis. Uptime, performance, and routing outcomes may vary and are not guaranteed. The Service is intended to support planning by a single professional user and is not a common carrier, dispatch platform, or safety‑critical navigation system. Do not rely on the Service where failure, delay, or inaccuracy could result in harm, injury, or significant loss.
Geographic coverage, address data, and map features are focused on the United States. Use outside the U.S. may be incomplete or unavailable.
6. Routing Disclaimer
The Service uses Google Maps APIs and other data sources. Route results are provided “as is” on a best‑effort basis and may be affected by traffic, closures, data errors, and other factors. You are solely responsible for verifying routes and complying with applicable laws and road conditions. We are not responsible for delays, misroutes, or losses arising from use of any route.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by U.S. law, Route Forge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct.
9. Changes to the Service
We may modify or discontinue features at any time without liability.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to conflict of laws principles.
